What a wonderful privilege and challenge we have to live, love and learn from our church family.
As the woman who not only learns under her husband's teaching, but loves him within her home and cares for his daily needs - we face a unique balancing act in life. Not many other individuals can really relate to the unique predicaments that come our way from time to time.
While we on the Women's Ministry Team hope to connect with you through National Conference workshops, our Women's Conferences and other regional events - we also have been working to find other ways to connect as pastor's wives throughout the denomination.
Our challenge to you? Who have you reached out to lately that might need a nudge of encouragement or an understanding ear? Does the cluster group that your husband is involved in have a connecting point for the wives? If not, would you be willing to reach out to other pastor's wives from that cluster for a cup of coffee, a note of encouragement or a dinner for couples some night?
Prayerfully consider how you may connect with others in similar life situations (within the denomination and without) - and see where God may lead you in the days to come. You never know if a friend may just be waiting right around the corner!
